In 1985, Vince Kosa  helped to organize the first Test Dept. shows in Budapest after meeting the group at the Atonal Festival in West Berlin.

This was the beginning of a long-term friendship which had materialized into the project provisionally known as DEEPER SIGNALS,

the title stemming from remixes of BP Service's "Deep Signal" album by the Frequency Nomad and the Genetic Pirate in Test Dept.'s studio in London.

This has evolved into a project what is now known as DEEP FACE.
