Most of the time the lesson is simple: just let it go.
Some are more complex, so we should arm ourselves with various spiritual weapons, consciousness and equanimity.

Limp Knife (phurbu)
In Tibetan Buddhism a talisman with triangular blade, a phallos and thunderbolt (Dorje) adorning its handle is called Phurbu.
This sacred object is meant to protect from evil spirits and larger versions are used for exorcism.
This is the domestic version.

Lingam (driftwood from Hawaii)
The lingam is not only the sign for the phallos but the integratio of both sexes. Shiva and Shakti, symbolizing the generative power of the Universe. The hole Yoni on the spiritual level stands for the opening of this world as a gateway to the other world which the soul has to cross in order to be released from the cycle of Karma.

Traveling Kit
One of the first generally accepted piece of prehistoric art assumed to be the Venus of Willendorf (cc.30 000 BC).
This sculpture was small and portable. Clearly the female reproductive anatomy has been exaggerated and this therefore believed that it was a fertility symbol, carried by the male hunter/gatherer as a reminder of his mate back in home.
